The world wide pandemic has sparked sensational claims about hemp derived cbd products. Some snake oil salesmen are trying to pray on peoples fears telling them that hemp cbd is a cure for covid-19
I need to make this very clear. CBD is not a cure for the coronavirus, in fact it’s not a proven cure for anything. Saying that it is, is illegal. It goes against the food and drug administration policies in the United States.
Making false claims gives false hope. It undermines and hurts the CBD industry and It also hurts small companies like Priceland Hemp who are in this business for the right reasons.
We strongly feel that clinical trials are needed. We need to better understand the effects of CBD, the endocannabinoid system and immune systems. Maybe one day the World Health Organization and CDC will figure out if CBD has any impact on the covid-19 coronavirus but for now, it is a hard no.
